Happy it's you

My young heart knew

Not what a bullet was

Or how cold steel could taste

In a slash of truth

And yet my eyes remembered

Having seen the battles past

Pass by with heavy heart

And a trudging weight about their shoes

Having since found out about it I knew

That those broken hearts sent whizzing past

Were not for me and we happily unfound

I am lucky to be alive, let alone with you

Saria
