Standing amidst the stream

When I stand in the water

Feel the rocks beneath my feet

Once shaped by streams

And molded into valleys

In the eyes of man now known

When I listen at hand

To the rippling ease

Of such is known

To me and my own

Then I understand

Like in the cities of man

Unfolded before

How we once were more free

And in passing meant to be

Like water and like stream

Ever flowing
