Young and old

But especially so

Have questions more important

Than anyone or else or thing

The old man sees this

And dies with answers

Having seen

The time slip by

Children are most anxious

To grow up and be

And in breathing to have

Lived their lives

But I

No old from living just the same

Know what its like to wait on children

Having once been questioned lame
